GAP/Internship Program

The internship Program is open to students who are on Internship and attracts a large number of highly qualified candidates.The goal of this Internship Program is to offer successful candidates an opportunity to improve their skills as well as the experience of working in an international environment. Interns generally find the experience to be rewarding. Eligible for the Internship Program, candidates must be a student in college pursing Internship with plans to return to school in a full-time capacity or an Undergraduate or PHD student. This Program typically seeks candidates mainly from fields: economics, finance, human development (public health, education, nutrition, and population), social science (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environment, private sector development, social work, doctors, nurses, community development as well as other related fields. Fluency in English is required.

A minimum volunteer for two weeks and maximum renewable six months in duration. Internship are offered all year round from January to December.

The objective of the Internship Program

· To provide a framework by which graduate and post-graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds may be assigned to International Volunteer Work where their educational experience can be enhanced through practical work assignments.

· To expose them to the work of the International Community.

· To provide Organizations with the assistance of highly qualified students specialized in various professional fields.
